3 May - Nettle forage
We have had a relaxing day finding and cooking nettles at the local farm with other Slow Food members. Not just nettle soup, but souffle as well.

7 May - Electrics

More rewiring, this time chasing under a concrete floor prior to screeding and then laying parquet.

12 May - Digging and planting
Everything has gone mad outside and we are desperately trying to get all the seeds sown, weeding done, earthing up, etc. etc.

17 May - Plastering

My first attempt at lime plastering, at last. I have applied the first (scratch) coat, which then needs to dry for a week or two, before the second and then final coats. It's very easy to work with and I would recommend it to anyone.

23 May - Windows
Back to sanding and painting windows as the weather is fine, along with planting out a bunch of brassicas.
